Cycle through Cowra to the POW Camp and onwards along scenic country lanes to the halfway point of the dayβs journey Billimari where you can stop for a half hour rest, no toilets then continue to historical Canowindra. The entire town centre along Gaskill Street classified by the National Trust. Canowindra is known as the balloon capital of Australia and also the town made famous when it was taken over in 1863 by bushranger Ben Hall and his gang for 3 days of merriment, you can visit the site of the hotel.Β Visit to the Ages of Fishes Museum and Historical Museum.
